At Odav’s Empowerment for Progress Foundation (OEPF), our mission is to empower communities and drive sustainable progress across Nigeria. Our impact is measured not just in numbers but in the lives transformed, communities strengthened, and systems improved through our innovative, inclusive, and community-led programs. From feeding children to training youth, empowering women, and shaping policies, OEPF is creating a ripple effect of change that aligns with national and global development goals. Below, we highlight our projected impact for 2025, the stories behind our work, and how our efforts are transforming Nigeria’s future.

Our 2030 Impact Projections

OEPF’s ambitious goals reflect our commitment to scaling transformative solutions across Nigeria. By 2025, we aim to achieve the following milestones through our flagship programs:

  • 1000,000+ Children Fed:
Through our Meals to Learn program, we will provide daily nutritious meals to over 100,000 children across 15 Local Government Areas (LGAs), improving school attendance, cognitive performance, and community agriculture integration.

  • 5000,000+ Youth Trained:
The Ready4Life (NiYA Finishing School) program will equip 50,000 youth with digital skills, entrepreneurship training, and certifications, preparing them for careers or artisanal ventures in the digital and green economies.

  • 200,000+ Women Empowered:
Smart Women, Strong Communities will empower 10,000 rural women across six states with skills, agribusiness opportunities, and financial literacy, fostering economic independence and community resilience.

  • 200+ Local Governments Reached:
Our programs, including Tech4Growth and Sustain & Grow, will extend to over 20 LGAs, delivering tech hubs, sustainability labs, and community-led initiatives to underserved areas.

  • 100+ Government and Academic Institutions Supported:
Through Capability Modeling & Policy Advisory, we will serve 10 federal/state Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) and 15 academic institutions, enhancing governance and policy development with data-driven tools.

These projections represent a bold vision for change, grounded in our proven ability to deliver results through collaboration, innovation, and community engagement.

Stories of Transformation

Our impact is best told through the lives and communities we’ve touched. Here are a few illustrative success stories that highlight the real-world effects of our programs:

  • Blessing’s Journey (Meals to Learn): Blessing, an 11-year-old girl from a rural LGA, used to skip school due to hunger. Since Meals to Learn provided daily meals at her school, she attends regularly, has improved her grades, and aspires to become a doctor. Her community’s farmers also benefit, supplying fresh produce to the program.

  • Emeka’s Tech Breakthrough (Tech4Growth): Emeka, a 20-year-old undergraduate, joined a Tech4Growthbootcamp and learned web development. After earning a certification, he launched a freelance business, earning enough to support his family and employ two peers.

  • Fatima’s Cooperative (Smart Women, Strong Communities): Fatima, a 38-year-old mother, joined a women’s cooperative through Smart Women, Strong Communities. With training in food processing and access to a microloan, her cooperative now supplies snacks to local schools, increasing her income and empowering other women.

  • Policy Impact (Capability Modeling & Policy Advisory): A state MDA partnered with OEPF to implement a youth employment model, resulting in 500 new jobs in the tech sector, demonstrating the power of evidence-based policy.

  • Green Innovation (Sustain & Grow): A rural community adopted a Sustain & Grow solar-powered irrigation system, increasing crop yields by 25% and providing clean water to 300 households, reducing reliance on erratic rainfall.

Note: These are illustrative examples based on typical program outcomes. OEPF can replace them with real beneficiary stories as programs progress.

Why Our Impact Matters

OEPF’s work addresses some of Nigeria’s most pressing challenges—hunger, unemployment, gender inequality, and climate change—while building a foundation for sustainable prosperity. By focusing on vulnerable populations, we ensure that no one is left behind. Our programs create immediate benefits, such as meals for children or skills for youth, while fostering long-term change through policy reform, green innovation, and community empowerment.

Every child fed, youth trained, woman empowered, and policy improved is a step toward a Nigeria where inclusive development is a reality. Our impact extends beyond individuals to strengthen families, communities, and institutions, positioning Nigeria as a leader in Africa’s transformation.
